About The Artist

Welcome to my studio! My name is Sophia Rivera, I am a self taught painter who spends time working on multiple types of art. My work ranges from colorful abstracts to impressionism to highly detailed pet portraits. While many artists decide to pick just one style, I decided to not limit myself and instead share the variety of work I love to do! I have been painting professional animal portraits for over 4 years and have served a multitude of clients from the east to west coasts and internationally. I have worked on a large selection of animals such as dogs, cats, birds, horses, and even guinea pigs! I also enjoy bright abstract paintings. Each painting is an expression of emotions influenced by nature, textiles, and design, bringing a bold and graphic statement to any space. My studio can be found in the beautiful home that I share with my love, our new baby, and three pets in the picturesque suburbs of Philadelphia.
